Scimitar-horned Oryx

The Oryx is well-adapted to life in arid regions: it does not pant or sweat until its body temperature reaches 113 degrees, and produces concentrated urine and dry feces. Feeding on grasses, legumes, acacia pods, succulents, and fruits, in the early morning, evening, and on moonlit nights, the Oryx rests in the shade by day.
